This fantastic vintage has produced, among other things, this excellent wine, which has rich aromas and balanced notes of blackberries, tobacco, almonds and light vanilla. Careful maturation has a velvety taste of tannins to blame. The final product shows delicious and balanced notes of oak wood and has a pleasantly persistent finish.
After 24-hour maceration, the freewheeling juice in stainless steel tanks was fermented for 5 days in a controlled temperature range of 20 to 24 °C to ensure maximum fruit intensity and balanced tannins. The additional malolactic fermentation on oak lasted 2 weeks. The wine was then aged for 3 months in oak barrels (Medium Light).
The winery "DANIELI" is managed by Eka Chviritidze and her husband Olaf Malver and produces only a limited number of Georgian quality wines. The couple mainly grows local grape varieties such as Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, Kisi or Khikhvi. The Argokhy Microzone, where the winery is located, is particularly known for its excellent Kisi grape variety, but the Saperavi variety from which this wine Napareuli was made speaks for itself.
